Our “Gourmet” Tarte Tatin contains more than 50% fresh fruit
It is said that the Tarte Tatin is the result of a happy culinary clumsiness. It was created by the Tatin sisters, who by pure chance, baked an apple tart upside down!
This overturned apple tart having been so delicious, would have become an emblematic dessert of unpredicted success. In reality, it was nothing of the sort, this legend was invented by a food critic who saw fit to delude generations of people with this whimsical tale.
With its melt-in-the-mouth texture, lashings of caramel sauce and abundance of apples, our tart is set apart by its generosity.
This tart is made up of all butter shortcrust pastry and caramelised fresh apple pieces in a caramel sauce.
Nicely presented, our incredibly indulgent Tarte Tatin is available whole or pre-cut into 8 servings, in order to meet the expectations of all restaurateurs.
Free from preservatives, artificial flavours or colourings, our tart, with its exceptionally delicious recipe, will appeal to all your guests!
